Turkey Korma whirls

spread on pastry
 Ingredients

1lb turkey mince
1 red onion finely chopped
1 small leek finely sliced
1 jar Korma sauce
1 pack of pastry, will work with either shortcrust or flaky

Method


  • fry mince and onions off until browned. 
  • add leeks and korma sauce and cook for 15 mins
  • leave to cool,once cooled
  • roll out pastry and spread turkey mix across the top
  • roll up as you would a swiss roll
  • and cut into slices approx 1 inch thick
  • place on well oiled baking tray and cook for approx 18 mins at 200 oC
roll up and slice



Can be served hot with chips, or cold with salad.

If you made red/white/blue pastry would be ideal for the jubilee
