Feeding Bob - an average weeks feeding

Have been asked by a few people what we actually feed Bob on on a daily basis with him having so many allergies, so I got my daughter to keep an average weeks menu for him to possible help inspire others into realising it is difficult but not impossible.

What I blog about in here is just me and the kids having fun, but on the more serious side my daughter has to feed Bob 24/7 with foods that are safe for him, believe me not an easy task with so many allergies, particularly with so many companies covering their backs now and saying "may contain traces of nuts" - it may not but not a risk you can take if your allergic to nuts.

We have had problems with him not eating for weeks on end due to him associating eating with pain and discomfort when he was younger but now my daughter is on top of his intolerances then things are much better for both of them.

So here you are a typical weeks food.

Notes

Saturday tea – We were invited to a barbecue, so I cooked the sausages and chicken steak and took them along pre-cooked, and he ate them cold with a couple of rolls.  I cannot risk the cross-contamination from a barbecue, hence the pre-cooking

Monday lunchtime - Frankie and Bennys supplied everything except the pasta, which I took along myself (and which they are quite happy to cook), unfortunately none of their sauces are suitable, so we add Heinz tomato ketchup to his pasta.
