Gruffalo hunting

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone....

Well we all went down to the woods today and we did not go alone. We went together. Bob. granddad and I went off to visit our friend who moved last week and the four of us went hunting. .

So we got ourselves equipped....picked up Gruffao detecting sticks and went off to see what we could find hopefully before it found us

well it does say the bag was grown, so why not here?

gaining height for a better view

a big stretch for little legs

this looked like a door so we knocked to see if a Gruffalo was at home

looking up fields

and running down hills

throwing rocks to create a splash

playing in the river

throwing rocks in the river

and running before we get splashed

sometimes not fast enough

learning the country code, close a gate if you open it.

Then we spend over half an hour shifting leaves into piles

and back again

and then kicking through the piles

We spotted pheasants and deers and a dead sheep, Bob thinks the gruffalo got the sheep to have some lamb chops.

you can see the deer to the left hand side if you zoom in.

  1. Elaine, that looks like a wonderful day out with Bob. I think he would love my boys, he stops to play with all the same things and that is one big rock he must have thrown to make that splash. Guy was doing just the same at Padstow *Boys*. Thank you for linking up with Country Kids
