Sunday
This arrived in the post yesterday, it arrived a bit worse for wear, but still tasted very yummy.
Monday
I do lead a very dull and boring life here, nowhere to go for a walk except the fishery. But every time you go there is new rubbish lying around. Found this black shell, looks like the top off of a missile, but this number was inside it. Doubt the number is genuine but you never know.
Tuesday
This was one of the bugs we found when we went bug hunting at the cottage. You can read our fun here
Wednesday
This is the back of a broken chair up at the fishery, I quite liked it.
Thursday
We used this in the slow cooker at tea time. Its a harlequin squash. Used it in the slow cooker, you can read my recipe here.
Friday
Granddad was instructing Bob on how to play snooker on the wii.
Saturday
In the car on a dreary miserable day on the way to work and the level crossing got me.
That's a majestic looking squash. Hope it tasted as good as it looks.
ReplyDeletethat is a great looking squash - i am wondering what you made with it.
ReplyDeletethat black tip does look like a missile - imagine how excting that would have been had it been an actual one! and what a great bug you found - great detail on all its legs x
I added it to a herby gammon casserole, recipe here http://www.funasagran.co.uk/2013/10/a-herby-gammon-casserole.html
DeleteThe photo of the bug was taken through a magnifying lid to the container.
