Project 365 week 36

Sunday

Sat at work and filled in my annual survey.

Monday

Hubby dug up the early tatties, not a bad haul, more been planted but not sure they will come to much.

great tattie haul

Tuesday

Not coming to much yet but this is what is on the tomato plant, dismal in comparison to last year. Gardening seems so hit and miss, glad I am not trying the good life.

Wednesday

Went an picked up the new car, a Mitsubishi Lancer. Bought this one from a garage after the palaver the other week. Our local garage gave it a once over and are very happy with it. The garage seems to be busy enough, always other people there buying cars. He gives a thirty day unlimited mileage warranty. We haggled and got a years MOT on it, a service and a new timing belt. From our experience I would recommend him.

Our new car.

Thursday

Had both the children round today, did not see much of Fifi apart from feeding and bed time. Pretty much the same with Bob though we did fit in a game of Banangrams we got before bed time. This is him with the monkey ask on.

Friday

For Sale one loved Mazda 626. 2 litre automatic 9 months MOT still on it, had four new tyres and new brakes for its current MOT and has had a drop link since. Had a new timing belt approx 30.000 miles ago. Have had it over six years and it has never let us down, runs well. Would have done us another few years had I not had the win I had. £480 ono if you know anybody in the market for one.

Saturday

Had a great day out, this is the second year running the Scottish Air show has come to Ayr.Booked the weekend off work month ago.  Lots to do and all for free on the Saturday. Highlight had to be the Red Arrows. Very difficult to take pictures of them with the sun in your eyes when they move rather fast. The children were not overly impressed but then they live under a flight path to an airport and see planes every day of the week. Blog post to follow.

Had to laugh in the morning when we were watching the storming of the beach by the army. The Gannets were putting on a great display of diving for fish unperturbed by the goings on.

  1. Glad you have found a new car that you're happy with. Hope you sell the old one quickly. Should be a good buy for someone as not a sale that's been forced if you know what I mean.
