My Sunday Photo 23rd September

Like so many other areas we got hit by rather high winds this week. So this week you have

blowing hard

  1. Oh yes, I bet you were hit hard by the storms up north. It was bad enough down here so I can well imagine you lost a few trees. the pics certainly show the strength of wind. #mysundayphoto

    1. it took longer to get here than they predicted but certainly reached high strengths while it was here.

  2. The wind has been terrible at times hasn't it, I think it was lucky that very few were actually hurt.

    1. yes when you see the damage especially across Dumfries area we were lucky so few accidents occur

  3. Quite a snap. Fascinating to see inside a tree. We've lost a few trees around us, but I don't think we've had it quite as bad as you've had. #MySundayPhoto

  6. Its super windy in here too! I almost werent able to pick up my son because I mistakenly took the seafront when I am doing school run! I was literally blown away!

  7. Oh my goodness. We had the high winds here but apart from blowing some garden furniture about everything survived.

    1. various bits of damage in the area and more than one tree down in the big park. Sadly the large building that is condemned as it is unsafe and due to collapse withstood it all.

  8. It has been so rough, we have had a big tree over too, thankfully our den building zone has benefited, hope no one was hurt from this one.
