Picking flowers, running through puddles and getting wet.

My daughter has finally got round to getting a new car seat for Dinky which means now she has two seats compatible with my car and I can take the twins out. So the other week while I was looking after them I got the seats transferred to my car and we went round to a local country estate and went for a run round.

found a puddle

and another puddle

cheeky face

yet another puddle

hands can go in puddles as well.

jump in the puddle

picking weeds and grass for their pockets

hiding in the grass

playing monsters in the lane

hunting for lions

ooops he fell over

with the flower she picked

picking leaves

kicking the water over his sister

wandering along

watching the river

Minky with his flower
Despite the wellies they were very wet time we got back to the car so their bottom half got stripped off and the puddles poured out of their wellies before they went back in their car seats.
We did not cover a huge mileage in our ninety minutes but had lots of fun.

  1. They look very cute but are growing up so quickly! Just gorgeous. We have been really fortunate with the weather this summer so seeing these little ones in wellies seems a bit strange...look at those puddles too! Lots of fun x

  2. It looks like you and the twins had a fabulous time exploring the country park. Muddy Puddles are always a big hit no matter the time of year and you can tell from the smiles on their faces that they were having a great time. Their imagination at this age is always lovely to watch, it's amazing how their games can evolve so quickly.

Thanks for linking up with me on #CountryKids.
