I won some wool the other week, but gave away my knitting needles and crochet hooks a few years back to a local charity organisation that does a crafting afternoon once a month. So a fellow comper had just won some need needles and hooks and read my post and sent me some of hers. She also told me you just knit normally on circular needles, I always thought you just used them for circular knitting....oopps
Hubby and I both had GP appointments this morning. I have been having issues with my Menieres Disease and I was not sure whether a change of medication might be an option. But due to my allergy issues it was decided to up the dose of my current medication, I am on the lowest dose to see if that helps. My rosacea has also flared up and I keep getting asked at work if I am ok as I am very red in the face, so also got a cream to help reduce this.
Finished off the cross stitching on Baby Roo's blanket. It now has her details on it. A bit disappointed that the confines of the boxes have made placing the wording rather untidy looking but having unpicked the verse a few times it was the best I was getting it.
A very bracing walk along the beach today.
I was in the town so added to my beach mileage for the week. Unfortunately it rained, probably for less than three minutes but enough to soak my bottom half. Was freezing but half dry due to the wind time I reached my destination.
Hubby's arm has come up in a lovely bruise.
Hubby got a phone call to say they needed another blood sample off of him. So a walk along the beach again for us and the dog. There was masses and masses of debris lying along the path, large pebbles, sticks and seaweed as well as sand have all been blown over the wall since we were last here.
I got a backing onto the cross stitch blanket this morning. That is it now finished. Thank goodness, this cross stitching seems to have been going on forever.
I decided to knit some items for the prem baby unit. Made this one first and then asked for opinions on the colour but everybody said it was a great colour so that is fine by me.
Watched the three wee ones while DD1 went to pick up Bob from gymnastics.
This is my stats from this week. So this week has been 3090 minutes of cardio and fat burning, that is 51.5 hrs/
Do not feel I have much to gain from more walking so been using resistance bands this week. Found this workout that fits nicely with what I have been doing.
