So having made harissa spice toad in the hole for tea tonight ( made a boo boo and ended up with tea at 4.20 tonight in case your thinking its a bit early -it was but not to worry)
I made a Yorkshire pudding mix, if your not sure you will get one here, to which I added 2 teaspoons of harissa spice mix. I cut Cumberland sausages in half, and poured over the batter mix, and cooked for approx 25mins at 180 oC. If you cook this at normal yorkshire pudding temperature than the sausages will not cook through.
cooked nicely
served with onion gravy and sweetcorn, tasted much nicer than it looks.
I love yorkshire pudding & like the idea of adding the spice - I usually add rosemary, will have to try some spice next time.
