Allergy UK needs you - Edinburgh Great Run!

I work quite closely with Allergy Uk and had this e-mail through that I thought I would share.

They are a great charity that help with many different types of allergies.

Hello,

For the first time, Allergy UK has dedicated places in the iconic Edinburgh Great Run on Sunday 14 July and we are looking for budding runners and fundraisers to join Team Allergy UK!

Would you or anyone you know like to be part of a great day of running in the Scottish capital, joining more than 6,000 runners. If so, with only 20 places left, make sure you register here  today!

It is free to enter and you will receive a free Allergy UK t-shirt and a limited edition wristband, in the colour of your choice, to show you are joining Allergy UK lead the fight against allergy!

You will also receive full support to help you achieve your fundraising target (minimum of £175.00), a fundraising pack full of ideas, hints and tips, access to our  branded materials (i.e. posters, collection tins etc.) and help with gaining local press coverage - all of which will make your fundraising experience fun and exciting!

Allergy UK is a national charity dedicated to providing advice, information and support to those affected by allergies and food intolerance. With one in three of us being affected by allergies at some point in our lives we know first-hand how expert and specialist advice is essential. With so few allergy specialists through the whole of the UK, Allergy UK provides vital support to all those affected by allergies and food intolerance, no matter where they live. Our aim is to provide better access to specialist advice and to support and educate medical professionals. We want to see the day when all allergy sufferers receive the diagnosis and treatment they deserve. We need your support to make this happen!
