My worst window view.

I saw this competition running over on Wooden Blinds direct and thought considering where I use to live and the view from the back of the house I just had to join in.

What is the competition?

This competition is exclusively for bloggers. We are looking for you to write a quick post on your own blog, about the worst view from any window you’ve ever had to live with – past or present. Adding photos would be great but not essential, as your great writing skills can paint the picture for you.

How to enter:

  1. Write a post on your blog about your worst window view - add a photo if you have one!
  2. Mention this competition in your post - worst window view
  3. Add a hyperlink back to the Wooden Blinds Blog or Website –www.wooden-blinds-direct.co.uk
  4. Leave a comment on the competition page of the wooden blinds direct blog linking to your completion entry
So complying with those instructions here is my entry.

So here is the view I use to have from my house when I lived in Westerton Road in Grangemouth. This delightful beauty is the B.P. Chemical Plant.

This picture is taken from the girls bedroom window. Two of the children out there are mine, complete with our slide, and two are neighbours children. All that was between us and the noise and smell was a football pitch. You can see the goal posts on the main grass area

This picture is over twenty years old and is a scan of the original so not good quality, but you can get the idea.
