the cooked biscuits |
I decided on Monday night we would make biscuits with the children. Unfortunately Fifi had had a hard weekend and that combined with a school trip during the day when she arrived here she promptly went upstairs, climbed into bed and fell asleep.....

So Bob and I made biscuits with our favourite recipe
I used 100g brown rice flour
50g potato flour
50g tapioca flour
80g dairy free spread
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
75g sugar
1 egg replacer egg
1 teaspoon glycerin
Mix together all the dry ingredients, rub in the margarine, then bring the mix together with the egg replacer ( or egg if you prefer) and glyverin.
This makes a dozen shortbread biscuits, so we added 50% extra and made more biscuits.

After tea they decided to make them onto chocolate shortbread and decorate them.
Bob shared them out into two

thanks for linking up Elaine. Looks like Bob & Fifi both had a lot of fun. Great recipe for egg/dairy free biscuits - are they gluten free too? I'm with Bob...more is better! x
